Mr. Rischmiller limits his practice to the aggressive representation of plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases, with special emphasis on claims involving medical and hospital malpractice. He is certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and as a Civil Trial specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. He has represented hundreds of clients and their families in complex cases resulting in substantial recoveries through negotiated settlements and jury verdicts. He has chaired and been active on several of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association committees and is a frequent lecturer for legal education programs on medical negligence and personal injury topics.

Clifford Knippel is a partner and litigation attorney in the firm of Rischmiller & Knippel, LLP. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 1968 and from William Mitchell College of Law in 1972. Knippel has won large settlements for clients in medical malpractice, product liability and automobile negligence cases in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. Litigation he successfully concluded helped make anesthesia machines safer. Knippel won the first ever medical malpractice case against the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Knippel is a member of national, state and local bar associations, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Minnesota Trial Lawyer's Association, regularly serves as a no-fault arbitrator, and has lectured at CLE seminars.
